An ageing population and the epidemic of Coronary Artery Disease which India and surrounding countries face make cardiac surgical facilities essential.

Surgical Services

1. Coronary Revascularization: - We perform on pump and off pump CABGs, including high risk patients with poor LV functions and impaired renal function.

2. Awake Cardiac Operation: Cardiac operations can be done when patient is fully awake. This modality is useful in old patient with chronic lung disease and other co-morbidities  where the use of general anesthesia is best avoided.

3. Transoesophageal Echocardiography: We have in-house facilities for on table TEE guided surgery for all adult and paediatric patients.

4. ENDOSCOPIC (KEY HOLE ) SURGERY: We specialize in endoscopic harvesting of conduits which in addition to cosmetic advantage reduces the morbidity and pain associated with the procedure. It also facilitates speedy wound healing especially in diabetic patients.

5. VALVE SURGERIES:  Apart from the routine valve replacement we tend to perform complex valve repairs for Barlow’s Diseases, AV canal etc.Adjuncts to valve surgery like LA reduction and AF surgery can be routinely performed.

6. CONGENITAL HEART DISEASE: We are fully equipped to perform entire spectrum of congenital heart diseases from neonatal to the adult. Our advantages are that we have the best possible neonatal and pediatric back up in this part of the country.

7. ANEURYSM  SURGERY AND VASCULAR PROCEDURES: We perform all the vascular surgeries for aneurysm of aorta ,aorto-iliac disease, peripheral vascular disease and carotid   disease .
